“How To Turn 7-15 Page Small Reports Into A Six-Figure Information Empire”

Written by admin on April 30, 2009 – 5:49 pm -

Today, I’d like to share with you a business idea that is oftentimes overlooked by online marketers.

We all know about writing and selling ebooks. Perhaps you don’t know HOW to do it, but we know that it’s a great business model.

But, ebooks can be a pain to write. I mean, really, who has time to write 50 to 100 pages before making a cent? Yikes!

Here’s a business model that’s JUST as profitable, and a lot less work.

I’d like to introduce you to your new best friends —

Small Reports & Jimmy D. Brown (the guy who’s going to teach you about them).

After you read this excerpt, be sure to grabbing the FREE report “5 STEPS TO A BIG-PROFIT, S.M.A.L.L.™ REPORT BUSINESS: How To Turn 7-15 Page Small Reports Into A Six-Figure Information Empire” at this site: (link)

But, first — I’ll share the first few pages of the actual paid course.

How To Make A Small Fortune Online With Small Reports

Hello, this is Jimmy D. Brown. Welcome to Small Reports Fortune™ where I’m going to teach you “How To Make A Small Fortune Online With Small Reports”.

We’ll talk at length about how to do this, but I want to kind of encapsulate everything into one opening statement as we begin our presentation –

The ultimate information business is finding a target audience and then convincing them to make repeated purchases from you.

An age-old marketing law is this: “it’s much easier to sell MORE to existing customers than it is to find new customers to sell to”. Your information business stands to gain serious momentum when you offer multiple, related offers to your customer base.

Instead of selling a customer a $20 ebook and then looking for the next customer, you’ll want to setup a system to offer her a $20 ebook, then a $40 product, then a $497 product and finally a $1997 offer. (These are just “generalities”, of course)

And it’s all going to build upon this foundation of creating short, 7-15 page reports.

The important thing is to get your existing customers to spend MORE money with you. Learn this: the more money each customer spends with you, the less customers you’ll need to reach $100K per year.

The idea is simple: get your target audience (subscribers + customers) to repeatedly spend money with you.

Once you have worked to secure a customer or subscriber, why not allow them to spend as much money with you as they are willing?

I’m not suggesting that you exploit your relationship with others and coerce them into purchasing sub-par products or things they don’t really have a need to buy. I’m talking about making products and services available that provide genuine usefulness to those who are in a position to buy.

There’s a big, big difference between these two statements:

“This product is going to change your business forever … it’s the best product I’ve seen in months … if you don’t buy this today, then you’re absolutely nuts … it’s what I consider to be a ‘must-have’ for anyone who’s serious!”

“If you’re ready to XYZ, then I’ve found this product to be very beneficial in my own business. I use it myself and here are the results that I’ve achieved. I highly recommend it and will even give you a free copy of XYZ if you are one of the first 50 who buy it.”

Both are attempting to get the sale. But one is full of hype and the other is reasonable.

Back to my point. You need to get your target audience to buy from you. And buy again. And again. And again.

Despite popular belief, you can do this without being a money-hungry, conscious-less, in-your-face, psychological mind-games coercer. (That’s a mouthful, huh?!)

So, that’s the backdrop of the Small Reports Fortune™ course. I’m going to teach you how to -

CHOOSE a market, CREATE small reports to sell to them and CASH-IN on your own money-making information business.

What I want to teach you to do in this series is to create small, 7-15 page reports that you sell to your list members in the $10-$20 range…and how to spiral them into premium-priced offers down the road.

You can make a “small fortune” with “small reports” – and I’m going to show you how to do it.

Here’s what it looks like 12 months from now:

You have 12 reports available for $10 each. (One per month) Customers buy the first one and, in time, buy most of the others. (Multiple customer purchases)

You put together package deals of 12 reports for $97. (Larger chunks of cash per transaction)

You launch an affiliate program for the $97 package and sell large quantities of the bundle. (Affiliates love ~$50 commission per order!)

You use your reports to launch “high ticket” offers that sell for $1,000 or more. (Skyrocket your profit!)

You make a “small fortune” with “small reports” (Yes, YOU!)

And it all begins right here.

SMALL Reports Fortune™ is one of the courses that I’ve taken that has changed my online business – for the better, of course. I highly recommend it.

On a scale of one to five — it’s an 11. ;)

“Don’t Have Time For That?” Now You DO

Written by admin on April 30, 2009 – 5:41 pm -

Roadblocks. We all have them.

What do I mean? Well, no one can possibly know everything there is to running an online business. No one. Not me. Not you.

At some point you have to get help. In some way, shape or form.

The most successful entrepreneurs outsource — they pay freelancers to help them with either one-time or ongoing tasks. But, did you also know that there are other free ways to get this type of help?

I didn’t realize that either, until I checked out the Outsource Weekly course from Jimmy D. Brown & Nicole Dean. I’m loving it. Yes, I’ll pay for things like Graphics, but I didn’t realize that I could also get other jobs done without paying money up front.

Well, I won’t tell you everything. Here’s an excerpt provided by Nicole & Jimmy from their course.

After you read this excerpt, be sure to check out the full course. They pretty much cover all aspects of an online business – what the task is, if you need to do it for YOUR type of business, if it can be automated instead of outsourced, and, if you do need to outsource it, who to go to.

—–
Outsource Weekly Excerpt
by Nicole Dean

If there was one thing I’d go back and outsource sooner, it would be my customer support and my emails.

Why? For a number of reasons…

Benefit #1: It takes a LOT less time now than I ever spent.

I’ve never been accused of being aloof, so I’ll tell you like it is.

This is embarrassing, but oh well.

I have “shiny object syndrome”. In fact, I think that most internet marketers have a bit of ADD where any shiny object pulls your attention away from the thing that you’re doing.

Emails, instant messenger, a new product that’s launching that everyone’s talking about, a cool website, phone, twitter, “ooh a new friend found me on facebook…” etc.

“What was I working on again?”

When I was answering my own emails, I’d run off to investigate the answers or find out more about the topic, click through on the links that were sent to me, or just plain old get sidetracked and head off to work on more pressing matters.

I’d get shiny object syndrome and spend an hour answering an email and come back and go “oops, I never responded” because I’d run off in 100 different directions between opening the email and hitting send.

So, when I finally outsourced my emails, I was quite embarrassed to see that the virtual assistants were only spending 15 minutes/day on something that was taking me a lot more time.

Benefit #2: It keeps me more positive.

You know the story. You get one crabby person who is just downright mean, for no reason at all. Well, some people can let that roll off their backs, but, when it’s your business that they’re talking about, it can feel awfully personal in a hurry.

My poor hubby had to dry some tears after one particularly horrid woman came after me, repeatedly being mean. And, she wasn’t even a customer! ((shudder))

Benefit #3: You’re Going to Have to Do It Eventually. The Sooner you Do It, the Easier the Transition Is.

Anyway, I’d held off outsourcing my emails for a long time, because I couldn’t believe that anyone would take as good of care of my customers, loyal readers, and JV requests as I possibly could.

That was until I realized that Bill Gates doesn’t answer customer questions.

Hmmm…

So, in essence, I was again punishing myself for success. The BIGGER my business grew, the more emails I’d get – the more miserable I was and the more I was stuck on my bottom, working many more hours than I’d cared to.

Success had again became a punishment for me.

—–

This course is the perfect starting point for any beginner. You see, Nicole & Jimmy have this thing called “integrity” that has caused Nicole to pour a lot more into this course than she ever imagined. When interviewed recently, she stated “I can not teach people how to Outsource a task until they understand 1. if they need to be doing it, and 2. how it should be done effectively. Otherwise, they’re just throwing money away.”

How To Become A “Membernaire”

Written by admin on April 30, 2009 – 5:34 pm -

I recently signed up for some of Jimmy D. Brown’s free and paid courses. I’ve got to tell you — I’m liking this guy already!

In fact, he’s provided me with an excerpt from his very popular course Membernaire – which teaches the easy way to creating recurring/residual income.

He says that all you need is the first article written and you can be in business. More about that in a moment.

But, first — I’ll share a few pages of the actual paid course.

—–
Excerpt from Membernaire
by Jimmy D. Brown

One of the biggest problems that membership site owners face is getting content. No question about it, it’s a struggle for some people to keep cranking out quality information, while others find even getting started a challenge.

What I want to share with you today are some different WAYS to get information to share each week.

Before I share these with you, let me quickly talk about the “4 pillars” of information…

- You can WRITE IT YOURSELF. The obvious primary source of your content is that which you write yourself.

- You can INTERVIEW SOMEONE. Another option for one or more lessons is to interview other people in your field, both “experts” and “non-experts” alike.

- You can HIRE A GHOSTWRITER. You may also want to outsource the creation of some or all of your lessons to a professional ghostwriter who will anonymously write the lessons which you can then claim ownership and authorship to.

- You can PURCHASE PLR CONTENT. A final major pillar is to purchase a “private label license” to existing content which you may thereby alter and publish as your own.

In the future, I will have a COMPLETE LESSON on *each* of these four pillars to share lots of keys to success, vendor resources and other insights into using these sources for developing your content.

But today I’ll be going over some “other” options that few people really use (if they’ve even heard of them!)…

7 S.O.U.R.C.E.S™ For First-Rate Content

As the so-called “King of Acronyms”, I use

S – STANDALONES
O – OUTLINES
U – UNIONS
R – RESOURCES
C – COLLECTIONS
E – EXCERPTS
S – SERIES

Let’s take a look at each of these in greater detail…

S.O.U.R.C.E.™ #1 S – Standalones.

There are a variety of different kinds of “standalones” that you can offer in exchange for a “regular” lesson.

These are usually materials that are related to the topic of your FTM site and are used to enhance the content for a better understanding and application of your lessons.

A few examples include…

• Worksheets
• Templates
• Quizzes
• Calendars
• Checklists
• Planners
• Illustrations
• Mindmaps
• Tools
• Vendor List
• Documents (Legal, Business, Etc.)
• Forms
• Charts

And so forth. Anything that can be created to improve upon your existing content is an idea option here.
I recommend that you use one of these as a substitution for your regular lesson at least once every other month.

—–
If that’s two pages of the course — imagine how much you’ll learn over the entire year’s worth of lessons.

The course is getting rave reviews from beginners and expert marketers alike. Check it out: CLICK HERE

Free Report: “Six Steps To Six Figures”

Written by admin on April 30, 2009 – 5:30 pm -

How’s your list-building going? You hear about it all the time “You’ve got to have a list…” but there’s a big difference between having a list and having a profitable list.

I’d rather have the second, any time!

I’ve got a surprise for you. One of the guys who practically invented list-building online, Jimmy D. Brown, has agreed to let me post an except from his course List PROFIT System, which is a fantastic course for beginners. It really should be recommended reading for anyone starting an online business, in my opinion!

After you read this excerpt, be sure to grabbing Jimmy’s FREE report “Six Steps To Six Figures With List Marketing” at this site: (link)

But, first — I’ll share a few pages of the actual paid course.

Excerpt from List PROFIT System

PART 3: Seven Opt-in Triggers That Get Subscribers Like Crazy

You can have all the right “ingredients” to an opt-in page (the things we just talked about in the previous section) and still not get great results. It’s how you put everything together that counts.

So, that’s what I want to share with you now.

You’re about to get the benefit of results from more than five years of tweaking and testing (and tweaking and testing some more!) the opt-in process. I don’t know if there’s anyone who’s been doing THIS longer than I have. I was using a mini-site to get subscribers since back in 1999 – back when list-building pretty much meant having a link on your site that said, “To join my list, click here.”

While there are a gazillion variations and distinctions, there are some basic “triggers” that I’ve found really do dramatically improve your opt-in rate.

There are seven of them…

Note: The first three are very basic, but I’ll be revealing some ideas that you’ve probably not considered before…so read them anyway. :-) The final four are more “advanced” in nature. You’ll find that only those “in the know” are using them. Add your name to the list.

1. Offer Real Perceived Value. Years ago I went to the late Corey Rudl’s web site and he was giving away a free subscription (like everyone else) to his newsletter. What made his different than the rest? It had a simple notice near the subscription form reading, “$197.00 value”.

Instant perceived value at the time. (That’s not the case now with everyone putting inflated “values” on their free offers).

The point is this…you can CREATE perceived value. Here’s how.

- UNIQUENESS. One way to do this is through your own “unique” approach to your free offer. You can say the same thing as someone else in a totally different way and see a marked difference in responses.

For example: “$600 cash back” is NOT the same as “A year’s worth of free gas” to someone about to buy a car. (Especially today with gas prices rocketing skyward in leaps and bounds!) “A year’s worth of free gas” has a much higher “perceived” value even though its monetary value is the same.

What makes your list unique?

It’ll give you an overview of the essential pieces involved in profitable list marketing. Miss even one of them and you could be working way too hard for too little money.

Guru Daily Routine

Written by admin on April 30, 2009 – 5:21 pm -

You’re going to love this. I mean, seriously love it. Have you ever wished the “Big Dog” gurus would invite you over to look at their offices? See their schedules? And, explain HOW to make this whole working at home thing work?

Well, my favorite marketing mentor, Jimmy D. Brown has done just that. His course Homepreneur Habits even has a picture of him in his jammies at his desk.

I enjoyed this course so much, that I asked Jimmy if I could post an excerpt from it on my blog. He agreed, so here it is.

Excerpt: Homepreneur Habits
by Jimmy D. Brown

Hello, this is Jimmy D. Brown, author of the SR Zone™ Reports.

One of the questions that I get a lot from members of List And Traffic (as well as from my other customers and even subscribers) is this -

What does your home office look like?

There is a lot of interest in learning about the equipment I use, the setup of my office, my daily routine, etc. So, I’ve decided to create this report that I’m entitling, “Homepreneur Habits: How To Run A Successful Home Business”.

My goal for this series is to teach you some basic setup and operations for establishing and maintaining your own home business office. Which, ultimately, will translate into more efficiency, productivity and … profitability!

Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, I think some of the insights that I’ll be giving you into how my own office and business is organized and operated will be beneficial to you in your own pursuits.

And, YES, just so you know, I really do work in my pajamas! In fact, as I’m writing this article I’m sitting here in my Ralph Lauren Polo pajamas and a white t-shirt. My wife snapped this picture just a couple of minutes ago…

(Warning: This is Jimmy in the morning in his pajamas … not for the faint at heart :-)

Continue on at your own risk.

No lifeguards on duty.

Turn back, turn back, turn back.

Okay, you were warned…

(picture removed — only for customers) ;)

You really can operate your own business in your pajamas. Or anything else for that matter. But, please, no file-sharing. I’ll take you at your word when you tell me you work in the same pair of holey underwear from college just to remind you of where you came from. :-)

Okay, back to the point. I’ve got this series divided into three parts…

Homepreneur Habits:  How To Run A Successful Home Business

Lesson #1: The PRINCIPLES Of A Successful Homepreneur

Lesson #2: The PARAPHERNALIA Of A Successful Homepreneur

Lesson #3: The PRACTICES Of A Successful Homepreneur

In our first lesson we’ll look at some guidelines or “rules” that I go by in organizing and operating my home office. Lesson two will cover specific equipment that I use in my daily operations. And in lesson three I’ll share how to organize your schedule for increased productivity and results.

I’ll be sharing lots of visuals as you’ll be given an “all access” tour of my own home office.

All of this begins in our next lesson.

—–

To continue reading the entire 64 page report, just swing by Homepreneur Habits and grab it while it’s such a steal.

Jimmy has written a lot of courses, but many of his loyal customers have said this is their absolute favorite.

How To Become An “Affiliatenaire”

Written by admin on April 30, 2009 – 5:13 pm -

Affiliate marketing is one of the most “passive” forms of online income there is.

- No products to create.
- No customers to deal with.
- No shipping or refunds or anything.

Easy peasy. Well, once you get started it is.

The hard part has been HOW to get started.

1. Buy a web design program for $300?
2. Hire someone to create a website?
3. Set up something free that you have no control over and could be taken away any time?

eek!!! Not great options, until now. Jimmy D. Brown, highly successful online marketer – and fantastic mentor, has put together a course teaching how ANYONE can get started with affiliate marketing with NO experience, NO $300 website software — and build a lasting business.

He was kind enough to share an excerpt from one of the lessons of his course. Keep reading to see his teaching style. I think you’ll like it.

—–

Excerpt from Affiliatenaire
by Jimmy D. Brown

Welcome – welcome – welcome!

We are entering into some exciting times now. Today’s lesson and next week’s lesson mark the final “setup” activities.

Today we’re going to “populate” your blog with content and next week we’re going to publish the first issue of your newsletter.

Then, it’s time to…

Promote, promote, promote!

Woohoo!

So, we’re closing in on those first sales. Keep going. You’re almost ready to begin seeing some results from your efforts.

I’ve heard from quite a few members who have told me they are “finally getting somewhere” due to the step-by-step, drip-feed format we’ve been using. Trust me when I say, it’s only going to get better.

But, it does illustrate a good point: the hardest part of success in internet marketing for most people is getting out of the gate.

It’s been my experience that those who get things setup end up making money. The staggering failure rate that is reported as the “norm” primarily is a result of the lack of getting the foundational things in place.

If you quit and turn back, you’ll be stuck in the starting position once again. And off to find another “option”. One more stat in the staggering failure rate.

If – you – stick – with – this – and – follow – instructions – you – won’t – fail!

Introduction

The ultimate way to get buyers is to strategically use presell content to convert browsers into buyers. It’s time to start blogging!

Your first step is to populate your blog by posting at least five or six messages initially. That way, anyone who visits your blog in the near future will see a busy blog, which makes them more likely to return. If they visit and see just an article or two, they may assume the blog is abandoned (which means they won’t bookmark it, subscribe to the RSS feed, or visit it again).

After you’ve populated your blog, you then need to commit to a regular posting schedule. Obviously, the more you post the better. So if you can post a short article each day, that’s great. But if not, then commit to posting at least three or four times per week.

SIDEBAR: We’ll talk more about “regular” weekly blogging later. In fact, I’ll give you so many ideas for getting ready-made content and creating fresh content that you’ll have plenty of options for years to come. For now, we’re just gonna focus on populating your blog with initial content so it has some “meat” to it when people visit.

—–

To get access to the entire course, simply go to (link). You’ll be so glad you did. You not only get access to Jimmy’s “system”, but you’ll receive 52 weeks of solid training walking you step-by-step through the entire process, including videos and the names of support if you get stuck.

Email Marketing Mistakes

Written by admin on April 25, 2009 – 9:59 pm -

Email marketing can be very effective for promoting your
business. It is a tricky area though and it is easy to make
common email marketing mistakes if you don’t know the right
methods to use. This can be frustrating for you as it will cost
you money yet not generate any additional sells. Here are some
common email marketing mistakes and pitfalls you need to be
aware of. It will make your marketing strategies more effective.

Consumers want to feel like they are a person to your business,
not just a statistic. Take the time to address each email
personally. It is more expensive, but it is more effective. You
will get a much better response then something addressed to
‘Dear Customer”. Don’t use dollar signs in your email marketing
campaign. It is turn off to consumers who view it as you only
want their money. Don’t use email marketing during the holidays.
Customers are flooded with them and yours won’t stand out.
People are too busy and stressed to relax and read email that is
not personal or important at this time of year. If you want to
market for the holidays then you need to do it early at least
before Thanksgiving.

Consumers don’t have a lot of patience! Your email message needs
to jump out at them the moment they open it. Put the most
enticing information first with the other details further down.
They are more likely to read the entire email message if you get
their attention from the start. As each consumer is different,
so is their computer set up and the type of program they use.
Don’t assume the email will open up the same in every type of
email service. You will need to test it out for each popular
email service. Always give the consumer the option of opening
the email in either html or plain text.

Confidentiality is very important to consumers. Make sure your
email sign up clearly states that you will not sell their
information and that it will be kept confidential and secure.
You will be surprised how many people won’t sign up for your
email promotions if you don’t offer this bit of information.
There are rules and regulations out there regarding what you can
and can’t do when it comes to email marketing. Make sure you are
familiar with those laws. They vary by country so if you do
global marketing make sure you check the regulations for each
area you will be sending them to. Failure to do so can lead to
huge fines for your business.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking you know what your consumers
want. If you really want to know what they are after then take
the time to ask. Be open to their comments, questions,
suggestions, and concerns. Letting them know you are available
for such customer service is a great way to earn their loyalty.
It is easy to sell something to a consumer but much harder to
please them so they will come back again and again.

If you are new to email marketing, consult with a professional.
This will make the entire process flow easier for you as well as
yield better results. Take the time to research the consultant
before using them. As for references and talk about what your
goals are. If the consultant is not willing to make your goals a
priority then don’t work with them. Are you afraid to spend a
large amount of your revenue on marketing? Consider working with
a broker consultant. This means you only pay them for the actual
positive results the marketing brings you. They will be paid
based on the traffic they generate for your site or the amount
of new sales resulting from the email marketing. Make sure what
ever method you choose is clear to both parties and in writing.
Make sure the time frame that they will receive benefits for is
clear as well.

You don’t want unhappy subscribers to your email marketing
campaigns. The laws require you to offer a link where customers
can unsubscribe. While you want to do all you can to keep them
reading your emails, it is important to respect their wishes and
remove them from the mailing list immediately. They will become
very frustrated if they continue to receive them once they have
asked to be removed. It can cost you their future business.
Email marketing can be effective for your business if you keep
these common mistakes from becoming part of your marketing plan.

Email Marketing Tips

Written by admin on April 25, 2009 – 9:45 pm -

Using email is a great way to market and promote your e-commerce
business. With people being so busy and getting junk mail, how
do you make your email stand out? Here are some helpful tips to
get you the most benefits from this effective marketing tool. It
is important to do some research and attempt to get your
marketing sent to a target market that will likely be interested
in the products or services you are offering.

Some companies randomly send emails to people who have
absolutely no interest in what is being advertised. You will get
a very low response from such marketing methods. If your website
asks for consumer information including an email address, but
respectful. Ask if they are interested in receiving e-mail
advertisements and promotions. If they choose not to then don’t
add them to your data base for marketing by email. Make sure you
have the permission of the consumer to send them such materials.
You are required by law to include an opt out link in the event
the consumer no longer wants to receive such emails from you.

Statistics show Tuesday and Wednesday are the most effective
days to send out marketing emails. Send them out in the morning
so that individuals have time to read them during breaks, lunch
hours, and in the early evening. You might have a lot of
information to pass on to the target market, but keep your email
short and to the point. Most internet users like to go through
their emails quickly. If yours is lengthy it may get deleted or
saved to be read later. You want the consumer to be able to read
it as soon as they click on it and get all the information. Make
sure you have hyperlinks that take consumers immediately to your
website if they are interested. Internet users are not patient.
Most will not wait longer than five seconds for your website to
appear.

It is important to test your marketing email in the various
email programs including Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, and AOL because
they all work differently. Your graphics and pictures may be
distorted in particular email programs. This will result in all
those consumers not being able to use your marketing email as it
was intended. Taking the time to conduct these tests can make
the difference between an effective email marketing campaign and
one that is a flop.

How often do you want to send an email to your consumers? This
can be tricky to determine. It really depends on your products
or services and your target market. You want to keep your
business name fresh in the mind of the consumers but they will
stop reading the emails from you if they become too frequent.
Some businesses do them weekly or monthly. Others choose to only
send an email when there is a huge promotion going on. A
business newsletter is a great way to contact the consumer
monthly with fresh information. You also want to give consumers
a very simple way to change their email address as it is very
common to change email service providers.

You need to have an effective system set up to answer any
questions emailed to you from customers within 24 hours. This
will show your business is serious about keeping them satisfied
before, during, and after they make a purchase. Issues come up
and most consumers will give your business the opportunity to
help resolve the situation. This is your opportunity to prove
the integrity of your business.

Email marketing is a very effective and useful tool for
marketing your e-business. Taking the time to proceed with the
process after you have conducted some research to identify the
target market and following these effective email marketing tips
will provide you with the opportunity to generate the most
business from your marketing campaign. There is a great deal of
competition in the world of e-commerce and you will have to work
hard to be the best.

How To Increase Commissions

Written by admin on April 25, 2009 – 9:36 pm -

In today’s society, everyone is searching for easy ways to make
money. In a way, affiliate programs can be considered one of
those opportunities. If you have a website that receives a high
amount of traffic, you may be able to make money with affiliate
programs, with little or no work. Despite the possibility of
making money with little effort, you may want to think about
putting forth some effort. There are a number of relatively
easy ways that you can go about increasing your commissions.

If you are already in an affiliate program, you likely know
exactly what affiliate program commissions are. If this is your
first time joining an affiliate program, you may want to learn a
little bit more. Affiliate program commissions are just like
the commissions that many retail stores offer their employees
for making large sales. If and when you join an affiliate
program, you will be notified of your commission rate ahead of
time. Say, that rate is five percent. Every sale that you help
to generate, you will receive five percent of that sale in
commissions. Many times, all you need to do is place a link or
a banner on your website. That is why affiliate programs are
often considered on the easiest ways to make legitimate money
online.

One of the easiest ways to increase the amount of commission you
make with affiliate programs to choose your programs wisely.
When it comes to affiliate commissions, different programs offer
affiliates different commission rates. Typically, a common
commission percentage is three to five percent. There are a
select number of affiliate programs that have a ten or even a
fifteen percent commission rate for affiliates. Joining an
affiliate program that has a relatively high commission
percentage is one of the easiest ways that you can increase the
amount of money you make.

Another one of the many ways that you can go about increasing
your commission is to be successful. Although this is often
easier said than done, it can help you immensely. Most
affiliate programs reward their highest performing affiliates.
For instance, once you reach a high level of earning, like one
thousand dollars in sales, you may be promoted to a higher
commission level. Many affiliate programs do this as a way to
motivate their affiliates. If you can successfully make sales,
you can see an increase in the amount of commission you make.

In addition to choosing your affiliate programs wisely and
performing better, you can also increase your commissions
through experimentation. There are a large number of different
ways that you can go about increasing your affiliate program
commissions. The only thing is that not all of these ways work
for everyone. The best thing that you can do is experiment.
You will need to take the time to see what works for you and
what doesn’t. When experimenting, you may want to try writing
affiliate product reviews or recommendations, sending out
monthly newsletters, optimizing your website for search engines,
or submitting articles to article directories.

It is also important that you give it time. Increasing your
affiliate commissions is not something that will happen
overnight. The only way that you can increase your commissions
right off the bat is by signing up with a high paying affiliate
program. However, even with those programs, you are not
guaranteed to make any sales right away. If you are interested
in using search engine optimization on your site, sending out
newsletters, or submitting to article directories, you need to
give these methods time to work. Although you may want to see
results right away, it doesn’t matter if it helps one week from
now or two months from now, at least you will be able to see an
increase in your commissions.

By keeping the above mentioned points in mind, you should be
able to see an increase in the amount of money you make with
affiliate programs. After time, you may very well end up making
a full-time income just with affiliate programs.

If you put your mind to it, you could very well support
yourself and maybe even your family, just by actively
participating in affiliate programs.

Promote Products You Beleive In

Written by admin on April 25, 2009 – 9:26 pm -

When it comes to an affiliate program, one of the most common
mistakes a program participant makes is choosing to sell a
product that they do not believe in or fully stand behind, one
hundred percent. Although you may be making money, you may also
be creating a bad name for yourself. That is why it is
important that you promote or sell products that you believe in.

When it comes to promoting a product that you believe in, one of
the most commonly asked questions is “how?” The best way to
promote a product that you believe in is to actually try out the
product. For instance, if you are promoting an e-book, you may
want to think about reading the e-book in question. In fact, if
you ask, you may be given the e-book to review for free or for a
discounted price. If you are interested in joining an affiliate
program set up by a retailer, you will earn commission for all
sales, not just a particular product. To test the waters, you
may want to think about placing an order, even just a small one.
This will give you a first hand look at the affiliate program
that you will be promoting on your own site.

Perhaps, the greatest reason why you should test out a product
is because if you don’t like it, there is a good chance that
your customers won’t like it as well. In a way, you can look at
it as providing a service to the general public, at least
internet users. By not agreeing to sell a poor quality product,
you will be saving other consumers, just like you, money. In
fact, you should be proud of yourself for refusing to do
business with an affiliate program that doesn’t live up to par.

Another reason why you should avoid doing business with an
affiliate program that sells a poor quality product is because
of your reputation. Although you are only directing customers
to the site where they can buy the product in question, you may
still be remembered for your part in the sale. Do you really
want to be remembered as the guy or the woman who recommended a
product that wasn’t even worth the money spent?

As it was mentioned above, you may be making money with an
affiliate program, even if the product being sold isn’t as good
as it could have been. Although you may be making money will
probably not last forever. In fact, you may soon find your sales
decreasing, if the decrease hasn’t already started. You need to
remember that customers talk. If a customer was not satisfied
with the product that they purchased, they will likely talk to
their friends, family members, and coworkers. They may even
write negative reviews online. These negative reviews may cause
other consumers to avoid purchasing the product that you are
selling, as well as your whole website in general.

The money that you can make, right away, may seem nice, at the
time, but you need to remember to think long-term. Do you know
what you want to do in the future, whether it is now or in a few
years? If you are like many people, there is a good chance
that you have no idea. What if you want to create your own
products to sell online? As it was mentioned above, what you do
online now can come back to haunt you. That is why it is
important that you think about your future, in the business
sense, and it what it may entail. If your dream is to one day
start your own online business, you will want to refrain from
bad publicity; bad publicity that may come in the form of a
poorly run affiliate program.

Although it was advised that you actually test out the products
that you will be promoting, through an affiliate program,
testing isn’t your only option. You can also research a product
online. Reading customer reviews, both good and bad, may give
you insight into the product you may have to sell. Better yet,
it may help you decide whether or not it is a product that you
want to be associated with.

Promoting affiliate products that you will believe in will
not only make you feel better about yourself, but it may also
help to increase your sales!
